Richard Macaulay
Richard Macaulay is a Vice President at Precision in the EU arm of the Global Pricing & Access Strategy practice. Richard is based in London and brings over a decade of consulting experience in pricing and market access (P&MA).
Richard has collaborated with companies across the commercialization spectrum in established and emerging markets to answer strategic questions in pricing, positioning, evidence development, value communication and access (including in asset/indication prioritization, evidence generation plans, value communication tools, and negotiation frameworks). Richard has experience across a wide range of therapy areas, with particular interest in areas where access can be most challenging: oncology and rare diseases. Richard is also an established thought leader, Richard has presented research and moderated and participated in panel discussions at numerous leading access conferences (DIA, RAPS, ISPOR, ISMPP, HTAi).
Prior to joining Precision, Richard was a Senior Director in the P&MA practice for Parexel (formerly Heron Evidence Development), based in London, where he developed a track record in successfully understanding client challenges, developing strategic solutions to these issues, and collaboratively executing strategic plans to achieve these solutions Richard has completed a PhD from University College London in how CTLA-4 and PD-1 mediate age-related immune declines and is a graduate of Cambridge University where he received a BA (Hons) in Medicine.
